Noah’s Gift is an endowed fund at the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi whose mission is to inspire and reward deserving young people with the gift of an extraordinary experience that was of interest to 16-year-old Noah Costa at the time of his death. His interests were as wide-ranging and fun as his personality: playing hockey, traveling, hiking, water sports, skydiving, and much more.

Anyone can donate through the annual Noah’s Gift Run/Walk/Skate, held this year on October 15, 2016 in Hernando, MS. Since 2011, the Race has brought in $124,082 for a total 17 Noah’s Gift Awards for various ‘unique’ opportunities such as: Elliott’s ‘Leap Year’ experience to Nepal where he lodged in a Buddhist school and worked with the young monks near Kathmandu (pictured below); Bethany’s travels to New York City’s Culinary Institute of America to learn about the educational aspects of the school and experience the various cultures of foods; and Sam’s work to build a shade structure at Hernando’s Skate Park, which helped him acquire the Eagle Award for Boy Scouts (pictured below). Apply for Noah’s Gift Grant here: http://cfnm.org/…/upl…/2013/02/2016-NG-Grant-Application.pdf. The deadline is October 7, 2016.
