The Teretha Jossell Walton Scholarship is established in honor of retired educator, Mrs. Teretha Jossell Walton, formerly of Marks, MS. The Teretha Jossell Walton Scholarship is awarded to an African American female sophomore education major who is prepared to graduate from Coahoma Community College this spring and has been accepted to a university for the fall to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education.
The student must have a 3.0 GPA. The award amount is $500.00.
