Program Description
The Next Generation Leaders (NGL) program, created by the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi and funded in partnership with the Walton Family Foundation, is a leadership program that supports emerging changemakers in the Mississippi and Arkansas Delta region. The goal of the Next Generation Leaders (NGL) program is to give emerging changemakers an opportunity to network, access professional development opportunities, and strengthen community development across the Delta Region.
The NGL program gives participants the opportunity to:
- Expand their networks and find potential project and grant partners
- Receive one-on-one mentorship on topics like grant writing, fundraising, non-profit administration, etc.
- Receive support for professional development opportunities (trainings, conferences, certifications, etc.)
- Build a community of emerging leaders working in Arkansas and Mississippi
- Join the Delta Directions Consortium (DDC)
