Lucy Janoush looses battle with cancer

Community Foundation Board Director, Lucy Janoush, lost her 1.5 year long battle with cancer Sunday, September 17. She was a leader in Cleveland, Bolivar County and the whole state of Mississippi. Lucy was recognized by the foundation as Community Star Woman of the Year at the 2016 Crystal Ball and she chaired the foundation’s very successful first Delta Conversation with Tom Brokaw last year. Lucy’s crowning achievement is the GRAMMY Museum in Cleveland. Lucy’s leadership, good works and generous support of the Foundation’s work will be greatly missed.
