The Community Foundation accepts grant applications from nonprofit organizations in Bolivar, Coahoma, DeSoto, Leflore, Marshall, Panola, Quitman, Sunflower, Tallahatchie, Tate, and Tunica counties.

Priority areas are education, health care, and youth. The Community Foundation will make grants to Northwest Mississippi organizations that have programs or initiatives that seek to impact their communities in these priority areas. Further explanation of funding opportunities is given on each grant application.
Support may be given to organizations that are recognized as Section 501(c)3 by the Internal Revenue Service, governmental bodies or public charities. The organizations must serve the community with no discrimination by age, race, gender or religion.
The Community Foundation will not consider grants for individuals, exclusively religious purposes, political purposes or special occasion advertising. For detailed information see Grant Guidelines and Instructions.
